St. Martin de Porres Ministry to the Homeless

​We collect clothing and other useful items to have available for the homeless upon request.  Sign up below to our homeless ministry email list to receive occasional emails about what items we are currently in need of.  We also currently organize a monthly distribution of food and other useful items to the homeless.  To get updates on items to donate or on when we are next bringing things to the local homeless, sign up for our homeless ministry emails below, and/or email our ministry coordinator:

​Support of the Sunday Love Project

We support the local work of the Sunday Love Project in their service to the homeless.  The organization operates out of the Church of the Holy Trinity, located on Walnut St. between 19th and 20th, on the northwest corner of Rittenhouse Square Park, a stone's throw from St. Patrick's.  While the organization currently has more than enough volunteers to serve food and give out clothing, we encourage parishioners to support this organization's service to the homeless through donating items or purchasing needed items on their Amazon Wishlist:
